Google Showing arrow on Search Result Page

I have recenetly observed that Google has starting showing a little arrow on search result page on the left side of web listing.

It goes up and down by using ↑↓ arrow keys.

As a Search Engine optimization company we feel that it somehow not good because having anything specially assigned on search page with web listing will always attract visitors to that particular web listing.

Also since it is by default appear with No.1 listing on search page then this will increase the traffic for first listing on search Page.

We feel if its an experiement from Google then they should drop this one.
