Universities Publishing Marksheets online

In the reent past many universities have started publishing their students marksheets over internet via their websites.Recently I Google my name and found that somewhere in deepages a listing which was actually from my college website and showing details about my semester marksheet.

At first impression I find it not good since, Like every other student I simple dont want to show my exact marks to everyone over internet because if you were a fine student then it will be become another resource for you to showoff but unfortunately every semester results only do have 3 best students ranking on 1-2-3.

But its a good source of collecting reputation information for recruiters who were actually looking at more information part then just rather researching about candidate with facebook and his other activities online.

I'm at mixed feeling about this because previosly one need to know exact roll number and details to get marketsheet information about anyone but with having full list available by universities it may be good and bad for students.
